I am Lengend and Blaming God!

 I have delayed posting anything on the movie ‘I am Legend’ as I did not want to spoil it for anyone, but I believe by now most readers to this blog, should have seen it at least once. ( I have seen it twice )There were quite a few great lines in the movie and one of them which touched me was the quote, ” God didn’t do this,  ( The mess caused by the disease )  we did!” That is so profound we blame God for ALL the terrible things that happen in life, the wars, Dafur, abortion, sex trafficing, slavery and de-valuing of women. We blame God for all these things when in truth and in fact, man is the cause for the ‘disease’. Man himself can be a parasite, consuming all the natural resources in the earth without any regard for the future. This is who we are, the sinful nature that is man! Look at the senseless killings in Kenya and Dafur, is that the result of God, or mans decision to stray away from God and rebell. How can we blame God for ALL that happens on this planet, the ozone layer the enviromental issues, It is not God it is ALL man! Does God build nuclear arsenals, or cause man to hate one another, thereby creating an environment for racism and hatred. We can be depraved and evil in our hearts and deceive ourselves, as we go about our merry ways, distracted by consumerism, individualistic thinking and the media.Let us take a look, introvert before we extrovert, like a friend of mine always says and we will see, it is not God but us!
